Global Deejays aka Ravers on Dope, is an Austrian dance and electronica trio composed of DJ Taylor (Konrad Schreyvogl), DJ Mikkel (Mikkel Christensen) and FLOw (Florian Schreyvogl). Their first three singles were big hits in Europe and Russia.
Their song "The Sound of San Francisco" partially samples the 1967 (The Summer of Love) song "San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)" sung by Scott McKenzie. The video includes scenes of the band in a decorated school bus driving through popular destinations.
In 2005 they won the MTV Award and the Eska.
On April 12, 2008, Global Deejays performed for the first time in San Francisco, the city that made them famous. During January 26th of 2009, saw the remixed version of Everybody's Free (To Feel Good) from Global Deejays, debut on the Australian Aria Charts at number 33. The song has also peaked as far as number 4 on the Australian Itunes Chart. This was due to the high amount of airplay during the t.v commercials over summer for Channel Ten's reality program called So You Think You Can Dance (Australia).
