Righeira is an Italo Disco duo from Italy. The group was founded in 1981 by Stefano Rota and Stefano Righi. They became famous in continental Europe for their single "Vamos a la playa" ("Let's Go to the Beach"), a cover of the Mexican group Los Joao's song of the same name). The track reached #53 in the UK Singles Chart.
A year later it was followed up by their single "No tengo dinero" ("I Don't Have Money"). Both singles were successful in the charts. "L'estate sta finendo" ("The Summer Is Over"), was released in 1985 and became a number one hit in Italy, but failed to peak the charts in other countries.
In 1986 the band participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with their song "Innamoratissimo" ("Most In Love") and placed fifteenth.
